My review of CTRacer (MMORacingGame)

CTRacer (City Racer) is a casual 3D MMO racing game in which players can build and customize their cars and compete against others for glory and advancement.

The game features various tracks to choose from, including several modeled after real Korean cities. The urban setting allows for many quests that will test your driving and other skills to earn you bonus unlocks and points for upgrades. Several battle systems exist for competition on different scales, and guilds can form with custom logos. Attention has been paid to make the cars handle as realistically as possible, and customizing your car doesn't stop at creation. There is a tuning system that allows for tweaks to be made all along.

The basic game is free to download and play, but further paid upgrades will be available via the item shop.

Here I Go !!

I just saw this on another website. I got interested on playing it and since I’ve got nothing else to do, I decided to register and played the game for a while. And I’ve decided to make my personal review about it so, here it goes.

CTRacer Global

Realistic racing simulation as its best!

• The field is almost real; imitating the streets of Japan, South Korea and China.
• The car functions are somewhat balanced and it has a very nice tuning system.
• I love their balanced tuning system. Realistic speed simulation FTW!
• The game graphics is not much of an eye-candy but, the game play is simply awesome!

The community…

• Like other games as usual, this game have player transactions and messaging features like chat, whisper, etc.

With mix of a RPG...

• CTRacer is somewhat different from other racing games.
• It is a part RPG, and a part racing game.
• And there is no set path to follow; you can choose to complete quests/missions, race with other players, or just drive around and explore the world of CTRacer.

Tuning System

• The game’s tuning system is almost similar to real life vehicles
• This game offers a simple interface for car parts navigation and tuning.
• If you got tired of your car parts, you can always buy it from the Lobby or Community Café.

The races…

• Basic game mode of a racing game. It is a Classic racing game with all the options.

Other Game Modes
• Championship Race: It’s like a real rally racing.
• Time Attack/Downhill-Challenge: Initial D!!!!!!
• Bounty-hunting: You can play as the hunter (Police) or the hunted. Of course, try not to get busted if you chose to be the runner.
• Main Field Races: Race against an opponent to win or lose a large number of prestige points. Of course just like the normal car racing, betting is included.

Driving Skillzzzzzzzz
• Another interesting part of CTRacer is the fact that you can actually configure your car to use manual transmission, which adds an entirely new challenge to the game. Automatic transmission is of course easier, but if used properly, Manual Transmission can actually give you better speed and acceleration. The game also feels very functional and responsive. Game play is smooth and requires a lot of skill; you can’t just rely on better items to help you. The player that has the mad skillz will win.
• Another one is when your car hit a wall or something, there’s a damage bar that slows down your car.

Show-off

• Where are the racers separated from the drivers? It’s in the turns. Simple controls make CTRacer easy to learn, but its sensitive drifting system keeps players training to master all the sharp corners.

Guild feature..
• Allots pages for respective guilds or links to existing pages with connection to the game’s official website.
• The site provides easy searching functions for beginners to look for guilds to match their tastes
• The game provides particular emblems/logos and territories/realms for each guild.

whew… I’ve had enough… such a long post... ^_^
